Rayna Andrews – Archivist, Smithsonian Archives of American Art

Rayna Andrews, Archivist - Archives of American Art (Smithsonian Institution), is a graduate of Pratt Institute's School of Library and Information Science and has an advanced certificate in archives. Ms. Andrews' main interests are archives and special collections.

I am particularly interested in issues of accessibility and how archives/special collections can collect materials from and better serve marginalized communities.

Ms. Andrews has a vast array of academic and professional experience in her field, earning a Masters degree in Curatorial Studies from the prestigious Pratt Institute in New York, along with having held such past professional and intern roles such as Cataloging Assistant, Project Digital Assistant, Library Specialist, Book Room Assistant, Archives Intern and Book Mender - to name a few.

Among her many interests, Ms. Andrews also speaks Mandarin Chinese.
